Led by Mrs. Phyllis Gamino and Mrs. Dovie Thompson, our early education classroom is filled with warmth, wisdom, and a love for learning. With over 15 years of experience, Mrs. Gamino brings creativity and care to every lesson. Mrs. Thompson, with more than 25 years in the classroom, inspires young minds with her passion and dedication. Trained in both traditional and blended learning, they nurture a Christ-centered environment where curiosity, kindness, and character thrive.

Auburn Career Center, located in Concord Township, Ohio, offers a comprehensive range of programs and services designed to prepare high school students for successful careers and further education. Serving approximately 750 11th and 12th grade students from 11 districts in Geauga and Lake Counties, Auburn Career Center provides a supportive learning environment where everyone is invested in the students' success.

Auburn Career Center offers a variety of career and technical education programs that cater to diverse interests and career aspirations. These programs include:

COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS
9th - 12th Grades
College Credit Plus
Ohio's College Credit Plus (CCP) program is a dual enrollment initiative that provides students in grades 9-12 the opportunity to earn both college and high school credits simultaneously by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities. The primary goal of the program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and offer a wide variety of options to college-ready students.
Key Features of the College Credit Plus Program:
Cost-Free Education: For students attending public schools in Ohio, the College Credit Plus program is free. This means there are no costs for tuition, books, or fees. Students who are homeschooled or attend private schools may have limited costs.
Wide Range of Courses: Students can choose to take College Credit Plus courses from any participating Ohio college or university that offers courses beneficial to their future. This includes both in-person and online courses.
Flexible Enrollment: Each college or university has its own application process and enrollment requirements for College Credit Plus. Students and parents are encouraged to visit the websites of their chosen institutions to complete the application process.
Academic Rigor: The program is designed to challenge students with college-level coursework, helping them to develop critical thinking and advanced academic skills.
Credit Transferability: Credits earned through College Credit Plus are transferable to many colleges and universities, providing students with a head start on their higher education journey.

Mature Content: The subject matter of some college courses may include mature content that will not be modified based on the participation of College Credit Plus students.

Parent-Teacher Fellowship
Our PTF is a vital partnership between families and faculty, united in our mission to nurture students in both academic excellence and spiritual growth. The purpose of the PTF is to foster Christ-centered collaboration, encourage active parental involvement, and strengthen the connection between home and school. Structured with parent volunteers, teacher representatives, and school leadership, the PTF serves as a bridge of communication, support, and shared vision.
For the 2025–2026 school year, our goals include expanding parent participation in school events, enhancing classroom support, and organizing outreach and discipleship initiatives. Two key areas where volunteers are especially needed are:
• Building our new playground, which will provide a safe and joyful space for students to play and connect.
• Serving as judges for our STEAM competitions, including the major Christian School Competition at Buckeye Lake in Spring 2026.
Participation in the PTF is a meaningful way to invest in your child’s education and spiritual development. We welcome all parents to join us in making this year one of growth, unity, and impact.
